Flow State explained: every ingredient and why it is there.
A stim-free pre-training powder built for rounds, sweat and drug tests. Eleven actives, every dose on the label, and the reason each one is in the tub.
Flow State is a pre-training powder with no caffeine and nothing else that raises your heart rate. It was built for people who train every day, sweat more than most, and may be drug tested: fighters first, but it suits anyone who wants a full-dose pre-workout without the jitters. This is every ingredient, the dose, and the reason it is in the tub.
- Eleven actives, every one printed with its dose. No proprietary blend.
- Zero stimulants. Focus comes from tyrosine, theanine and alpha-GPC, not caffeine.
- A real electrolyte load: 500mg sodium, 250mg potassium, 100mg magnesium per scoop.
- Every ingredient sits outside the WADA Prohibited List and the Monitoring Program.
- One scoop in 500ml of water, 20 to 30 minutes before you train. Every day, rest days included.
What is Flow State for?
A typical session for a fighter is 60 to 120 minutes of rounds: pads, sparring, drilling, conditioning. That is repeated hard efforts of one to four minutes with short breaks, in a hot room, losing a lot of sweat. Most pre-workouts are built for a 45-minute lifting session and lean on caffeine to feel like they are doing something. Flow State is built for the rounds instead: buffering for the burn, power for the scrambles, blood flow for the endurance, electrolytes for the sweat, and calm focus rather than a racing heart.
What is in Flow State?
| Ingredient | Dose | What it is there for |
|---|---|---|
| Creatine monohydrate | 5,000mg | Power in repeated short efforts. The most researched legal performance ingredient there is. |
| Beta-alanine | 3,200mg | Builds muscle carnosine, the buffer against the burn in 1 to 4 minute efforts. That is a round. |
| L-Citrulline | 4,000mg | Nitric oxide and blood flow. Pure citrulline, not malate, so the dose on the label is the dose you get. |
| L-Tyrosine | 1,500mg | Supports mental performance under stress, sleep loss and fatigue. Not a stimulant. |
| Taurine | 1,000mg | Cell hydration and osmotic balance. |
| Sodium | 500mg | The electrolyte you actually lose in sweat. Declared as 1.25g salt. |
| Alpha-GPC | 300mg | Choline for the nerve-to-muscle signal. |
| Potassium | 250mg | Balances sodium inside the cell. |
| L-Theanine | 200mg | Calm focus without sedation. The reason this pre feels different. |
| Magnesium | 100mg (27% NRV) | Electrolyte balance, normal muscle function, reduction of tiredness and fatigue. |
| Vitamin B6 | 1.4mg (100% NRV) | Normal psychological function, reduction of tiredness and fatigue. |
Why is there no caffeine in it?
Three reasons, and they all matter more to a fighter than to a bodybuilder.
Caffeine raises your resting heart rate before you have thrown a punch. You then spend the first round paying for that, and your coach reads it as poor conditioning.
Most fight training happens in the evening. Caffeine at 6pm is still half in your system at midnight. Poor sleep is the fastest way to lose a camp.
Stimulants make a cut miserable: raised heart rate, water loss you cannot control, and a crash you do not need on weigh-in day.
Focus in Flow State comes from a different route. Tyrosine feeds the brain chemicals you burn through under stress. Theanine keeps you composed. Alpha-GPC supports the nerve-to-muscle signal. You walk in calm and you stay calm.
Stimulants, of any kind. No caffeine, no guarana, no green tea extract, no synephrine, no "natural energy complex". Nothing in the tub pushes your heart rate.
Why are the electrolytes in the pre-workout?
Because fighters sweat more than almost any other athlete, and cramp in round three is usually a hydration problem rather than a fitness problem. A scoop of Flow State carries 500mg of sodium, 250mg of potassium and 100mg of magnesium. Drink it in 500ml of water before the session and keep sipping through it, and you start the hard work already topped up instead of chasing it afterwards.
Is Flow State legal for tested athletes?
Yes. Every ingredient is permitted under the WADA Prohibited List and sits outside the WADA Monitoring Program. No supplement is ever completely risk-free for a tested athlete, because contamination in manufacturing, not the label, is what fails most tests, so always check your own federation's guidance too.
One scoop in 500ml of cold water. Shake, drink, warm up. Keep sipping water through the session.
Creatine and beta-alanine work by building up over weeks. Take Flow State on rest days too, any time of day.
If you cut weight, drop Flow State from seven days out. Creatine holds a little water. Pick it back up after the weigh-in.
Flow State before, Reset after. That is the full stack.
Beta-alanine causes a harmless tingling on the skin for 20 to 40 minutes in some people. It is normal, it fades, and it means the dose is a real one. If you would rather avoid it, split the scoop in two and take it an hour apart.
Calm in. Lights out.
Can I take Flow State if I am not a fighter?
Yes. It is a full-dose, stim-free pre-workout for anyone. Runners, lifters who train in the evening, and people who have had enough of caffeine all use it the same way.
Will I feel it working?
You will feel the tingle from beta-alanine and a calm, clear focus within 30 minutes. What you will not feel is a buzz, because there is nothing in it to make one. The creatine and beta-alanine effects build over two to four weeks of daily use.
Can I take it with coffee?
You can. Flow State has no caffeine of its own, so a coffee alongside it will not stack stimulants. Just be honest with yourself about evening sessions and sleep.
